The course includes a PowerPoint (in PDF) and an MP4 video file from the presentation originally shared at the 14th National Doctors of Nursing Practice Conference at the Swissotel in Chicago, August 2021. Tina Gustin, DNP, RN  Dr Gustin has over 35-years of advanced practice nursing experience. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She received her master’s degree as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Virginia, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Old Dominion University. She is currently an Associate Professor at Old Dominion University School of Nursing where she teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. Dr. Gustin has been teaching personal strategic planning to her DNP students for over 5-years; she practices personal strategic planning in her life and career. Purpose This presentation will review how a DNP faculty member mentored clinical interprofessional staff and DNP students through 3 projects aimed at evaluating outcomes to support an RPM program at a children’s hospital with a limited research agenda. Methods and outcomes will be reviewed as well as how the hospital is now moving forward with an RPM program as a result of the projects.
