LanChasica (Lanie) Alexander is a nationally board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. She is presently pursing a Doctor of Nursing Practice at Eastern Kentucky University. LanChasica completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2011) from the University of Southern Mississippi and her Master of Science in Nursing (2019) from the University of Texas-Arlington. Throughout her career, she has primarily worked in adolescent psychiatry and has over 7 years of adolescent eating disorder experience. LanChasica has a special interest in maternal mental health and is a trained postpartum doula. She is passionate about minority mental health and plans to utilize this passion towards her DNP project. LanChasica presently practices at Children’s Medical Center in Plano, TX as an APRN for the Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders.
