Susan Orshan, PhD, RN
Dr. Orshan serves as the University of Phoenix College of Nursing Full Time Faculty for Doctoral Programs. She earned her BSN from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s and PhD degrees from New York University. Dr. Orshan is certified in Distance Education and has been an educator in the virtual higher education environment for twenty years.
Through her private practice, Healthy Matters LLC, Dr. Orshan offers classes in Lamaze, the Feldenkrais Method® of Somatic Education, stress management and therapeutic touch sessions.
Purpose
The purpose of this presentation is to identify approaches that can be used to successfully gain access and conduct quality improvement initiatives in a variety of health care and community settings. The presentation purpose is consistent with the conference purpose since the presentation will provide the foundation and structure needed for successful quality improvement initiatives.
