Venita Roberson, DNP, FNP-C Venita Roberson began her nursing career in 2001. Venita received a Licensed Vocational Certification in 2001 from Central Texas College and her Bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2013 from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. She received her Master’s of Science and Nursing in 2016 from Grand Canyon University. Venita received her Post Masters Nurse Practitioner Certification from Troy University in 2019 and her DNP in May 2021. Purpose The purpose of this study is to examine the use of Cannabinoids (CBD) in patients with chronic pain and determine if pain and frequency of opioid use will decrease.
