South University's Savannah campus offers an executive style Post Masters DNP program with three Saturday meetings per quarter. Students can select from a Public Health or Leadership concentration, taking four elective courses in either area- or no concentration, taking two electives from either area. the program requires a total of 1,000 clinical hours, which includes supervised clinical hours from the student's MSN program. A minimum of 460 supervised clinical hours are required for entry, but transitional courses offering additional supervised clinical hours to meet the 1000 hour requirement may be approved by the Program Director.

We offer a hybrid masters degree FNP followed by a 30 credit fully online DNP program. Our masters degree program is accredited by CCNE. Our DNP program accreditation is in process but requires our first graduating class to be eligible. Within the DNP program students have the opportunity to complete five didactic courses and their DNP project work focusing on their area of interest/expertise. Applicants must all be licensed and practicing in New York State.
