The graduate nursing programs at Edgewood College hold a mission designed to develop nurses into leaders with advanced knowledge, Dominican values, and the ability to contribute to the changing, diverse healthcare environment. Advanced practice roles in nursing require further enhancement of critical reasoning and decision making skills as theory is translated into practice. Our 30-credit DNP is in Executive Leadership. Students completing one of Edgewood\\\'s MSN offerings (Administration, Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner [AGPCNP], Clinical Nurse Specialist-Adult Gerontology [CNS-AG], Education, Family Nurse Practitioner [FNP], or Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner [PMHNP]) can integrate DNP-level courses into their MSN program.
