Tampa, FLContact Name: Cindy Parsons, DNP, ARNP, FAANP, BC, DNP Program Director, Associate Professor of Nursing
With a focus on real-world relevancy, the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree continues a tradition of excellence in nursing education at The University of Tampa. This convenient, online program consists of 30 credit hours spread over six semesters. Students may choose from three unique concentrations: one for nurse practitioners (Advanced Practice Nursing) and two for nurse leaders (Leadership in Population Health and Leadership in Clinical and Academic Nursing Education). The leadership concentrations are open to students with current nursing licensure in Florida and/or one of the nursing compact states.
The DNP program’s online format, with only three required visits to campus, allows students to continue their full-time careers. UT nursing faculty are respected researchers and practitioners and are committed to students’ educational mastery and career advancement. -
University of Tennessee Chattanooga
Chattanooga, TNContact Name: Joanie Jackson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, Associate Professor
Currently, within our DNP Program, we have a Post Master\'s concentration (Dr. Joanie Jackson coordinates the Post Master\'s concentration) and a Nursing Administration concentration (with the option to obtain an MBA). By January 2022, we will be offering a BSN to DNP for Nurse Anesthesia concentration also. A concentration for BSN to DNP for Nurse Practitioners (Family and Acute Care Gero) is also being developed with offerings expected in Fall of 2022. Once both Anesthesia and NP concentrations are underway, we will no longer offer Master\'s level degrees.
