Leading Care. Creating Partnerships. Improving Health.
The University of Tennessee College of Nursing is a catalyst for optimizing health through nurse-led care by integrating education, practice, research, and technology.
The University of Tennessee College of Nursing offers two graduate degree options - the DNP and PhD. We also offer a range of graduate certificates. Concentrations in our BSN-DNP Program include Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care and Dual Track-Primary/Acute Care), Nurse Anesthesia, and Nurse Executive Practice. The Post-Master’s DNP is a generalist program designed to broaden and extend the knowledge base of master’s-prepared nurses. Master’s-prepared DNP students may also add-on a Graduate Certificate to include a new specialty. Many of our programs boost a 100% first-time pass rate from the national certification boards.
Our graduate programs are offered via a blended distance education model, with most coursework completed online and periodic on-site visits to the campus in Knoxville. We feature a unique distance education tuition model, which includes an out-of-state tuition waiver for students residing outside of the state of Tennessee.
