Tracy Saladar is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with experience in primary care pediatrics and school based health care. She is the pediatric population lead for the Primary Care Pediatric DNP program at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. In addition to teaching, Dr. Saladar has a primary care pediatric practice in Sycamore, IL.
Purpose
The purpose of this presentation is to deliver innovative online education that has the ability to assess the student’s knowledge of assigned content, to promote clinical scholarship and leadership, and to further advanced nursing practice in the classroom setting. The goal is to strengthen student understanding of material and increase student confidence in the classroom, in clinical practice, to prepare students for certification style exams, and ultimately to improve DNP provided patient care.
